The Master of Civil Engineering Technology at KU Leuven endows students with the broader, advanced, scientific knowledge and skills required for success within the professional sphere, whilst placing a particular focus on the science of civil engineering.

Overview

This process is driven and supported by technological developments, such as:

  • new materials
  • building information modelling (BIM)
  • heating
  • ventilation, and air conditioning technologies (HVAC)

In this one-year Master of Civil Engineering Technology at KU Leuven you are required to take six compulsory courses and choose 18 ECTS of elective courses. You will also complete a professional competence module in the form of an internship and work on a scientific project as part of one of our research groups, or in an approved workplace. The programme culminates in the completion of a master’s thesis.
