Overview
The aim of the Master's program in Control and Automation Engineering (Evening Classes) from Yildiz Technical University is to conduct students scientific research, improve the ability of evaluation and interpretation of the information.
Program outcomes
- Be able to reach knowledge in-depth and broadly for scientific research in engineering area and be able to evaluate, interpret and apply this knowledge.
- Be able to solve complicated problems independently by improving abilities on analysis, synthesis and criticism.
- Be able to define, analyse and develop solution methods for control and automation problems belonging to various disciplines.
- Be able to develop novel and original ideas and methods; be able to develop innovative solutions in system, process and algorithm designs.
- Be able to design and implement analytical, model-based and experimental research; be able to analyze and interpret complex situations encountered in the process.

General requirements
- To study in the graduate programs, the students are required to take an exam called “ALES” (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam), which is also administered by ÖSYM, and submit this score with their application. GRE or GMAT can also be a substitute of ALES. The applicants have to meet additional program requirements defined by the universities.
- In Turkey, the universities have the right to define the admission criteria themselves and these admission criteria have to be approved by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK).
