The Master of Science in Education Policy and Leadership offered by University at Albany is a 36-credit (12 course) graduate program that can be completed in a combination of traditional, hybrid or on-line courses.
Students who enter the MS degree will participate in an engaged intellectual community, interdisciplinary perspectives on educational policy and leadership that capture the complexities of the education sector, and its ties to other sectors.
Students are exposed to a comprehensive curriculum that prepares them through an academic experience guided by a global vision of education, rigorous inquiry, and transformative practice.
Concentrations include educational leadership, education policy, and global & comparative education.

Full-time students take a minimum of three semesters to complete their coursework
Part-time students are allowed up to five years to complete the program.
This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English.
The per credit rate for out of state residents is $944.
For in-state students, the per credit rate is $462.
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Students may apply for graduate assistant and other employment opportunities around the campus, the state university system or surrounding colleges.
