The Master in International Development Studies and Communication Studies at Roskilde University enhances your knowledge and competencies in the interlinked political, cultural and economic processes relating to inequality and processes of development in connection with the Global South.

Overview

You will acquire a theoretical and practical knowledge of the conditions for the dissemination of academic information to various target groups, such as academic communication on developing countries, but also on the special relationship with the media and communication internally in the developing countries.

Emphasis is placed on understanding and communicating development across national as well as international interrelationships.

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

English requirements

IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90.

  • A degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree
  • Study elements equivalent to Danish bachelor’s level taken before completing your bachelor's degree - e.g. additional courses where you obtain ECTS/credits taken concurrently with your bachelor's degree or study elements passed at another bachelor's degree that you have not completed. However, we will only include a maximum of 30 ECTS from these studies.
