Overview

The development of specific technical professional skills, of autonomous work, ability to apply knowledge and deal with complex problems in a context of limited information and to develop innovative solutions in wide multidisciplinary situations, the development of quantitative skills and their application using the existing software on the market are aspects that we emphasize.

We emphasize the employability indicators of the Master in Economics at Universidade de Aveiro , reflected in the relatively easy integration of our former students in the labor market.

In the Master in Economics of DEGEIT one may follow a specialization at the level of university education, following the best international practices, in the following fields:

• Finance

• Business Economics

Our students can also complete the Master doing an internship, benefiting from our network of companies with interest on economic students, as well as from our experience with the supervision of Graduate students in Economics in general, in Finance and in Business Economics. 

With us you have the possibility of taking a Master within an highly dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, which is reflected, for example, in the network of companies for internships, seminars, training courses and other actions offered to our post-graduate students.

In terms of faculty, we have solid and international training, with significant involvement in projects and very good scientific performance indicators. A dynamic faculty, present and available to support the training of the students are also differentiating aspects.

In practical terms, students will have access to innovative analytical skills, to databases that can be used in the context of masters and also to strengthen their international experience through the Erasmus Program, Campus Europae and a programs leading to a Double Degree with Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania, the latter is another novelty and opportunity we offer.
