The Teaching and Learning program of Lock Haven University, aligned with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) and fully accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)/Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation (CAEP), is designed to provide in-service teachers and other education professionals with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of instructional design, assessment, classroom management and technology integration.

Professional Preparation: The Master of Education in Teaching and Learning is designed for teachers and other education professionals:

Online Coursework with On-Site Supervision: The 36-credit program will prepare you to develop your skills and become an agent of educational change by enhancing your effectiveness as a teacher-leader and increasing your skills of assessment, classroom management, instructional design, reflective practice, and the learning process.
