Overview
Applied Econometrics students at Eastern Michigan University develop expertise in hypothesis testing and model building for the analysis of complex public policy issues such as monetary and fiscal policy, consumer and business behavior, health care analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
Learning outcomes
- The program prepares students for careers in business, finance, industry, and government services. It also provide training for students who intend to pursue the study of economics at the (Ph.D. levels). The program can accommodate these students with undergraduate backgrounds in fields ranging from mathematics and engineering, economics and business, to political science, public administration, and liberal arts.
