Overview
The Chinese programme from Lingnan University is designed for Chinese language and literature lovers who want to advance their careers, progress to a higher level of postgraduate study, or simply broaden their knowledge and understanding of modern Chinese literature, says Professor Mary WONG Shuk-han, Associate Professor of Department of Chinese at Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
The programme also enables students to master Chinese-language copywriting and creative writing skills.
Features
The Master of Arts in Chinese programme covers more than just Chinese literature. It offers a wide range of compulsory and elective courses which include disciplines like literary criticism, creative writing, film studies, and comparative literature. The research methodology is geared to hone the students’ theoretical and practical capabilities. Creative writing is another focus of our programme, it makes our students familiar with various writing skills, cultures and bring reflections on their daily lives.
