Overview
Political Science at Södertörn University offers training in social sciences methodology and aims to give you tools so that can develop your analytical and problem-solving abilities. The programme has a particular focus on democracy and governance.
What you'll study
Are you interested in questions of how democracy works and the theories behind it? Or in analysing political power and organisation? This Master’s degree focuses on these issues and others. It will enhance your ability to conduct political analysis and improve your problem-solving skills, provide training in the methodology used in the social sciences and develop your ability to autonomously apply these skills to your studies.
The programmes also makes use of research performed by members of staff and links theory-driven, normative, empirical and conceptual analyses. You will study political power and organisation in both specific and wider senses, both within and between various societal and analytical levels.

- Selection: On the basis of previous university credits. Between 30 and 285 credits may be taken into account.
