Overview

Created to provide students with training in advanced nutritional sciences as well as professional skill development through the completion of PLUS courses, the Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition will prepare graduates to successfully compete for jobs in the nutrition workforce.  The Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition program is responsive to the challenges faced by today's nutrition professionals, and provides a path to advancement outside of the traditional, research-intensive M.S. degree. 

Tuition for those accepted into the program is $650 per unit for both residents and nonresidents. Do not use Bursars Tuition Table.

GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

PTE admission requirements PTE Academic PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90.

  • BS or BA in Nutrition from an accredited institution. 
  • If undergraduate degree is in a field other than nutrition, coursework in physiology, biochemistry, and a 400 (senior) level course in nutrition and disease is required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA overall in undergraduate degree
  • International students must submit a Minimum TOEFL (Internet-based) Score of 79 or (Paper-based) Score of 550.  The minimum IELTS (overall band score) is 7.
