Programme Structure

Dissertation not exceeding 40,000 words in an aspect of international security studies. The dissertation will either display clear evidence of originality in research outcomes and argument, or it will constitute a satisfactory, orderly and critical exposition of existing knowledge within the field concerned. Qualifications

  • Applicants for admission will normally be expected to hold a relevant Honours degree with at least 2:1 standard from a recognised university or body International Relations, Politics, History, Geography, Economics, Law, Management, Languages or cognate disciplines. In exceptional circumstances applicants without this qualification may be admitted subject to having an alternative qualification, or an approved level of work experience, appropriate to the field of study.
