Overview
Who is the programme aimed at?
The students of the Special Needs Education programme of the University of Oslo have different backgrounds. They are international as well as Norwegian students with Bachelor diplomas in different fields, including psychology, education, habilitation/rehabilitation and also social science. Yet they share the same commitment to social inclusion; the passionate care for all people; the passion for learning new things and exploring unfamiliar territories; and the intellectual curiosity of working in an international team. If you recognize yourself in this picture, the Special Needs Education programme might be the right choice for you!
The study environment
The Master’s programme in Special Needs Education is a full-time programme run in English. The teaching is a combination of plenary and small group sessions with a problem-based learning approach.
