You will gain insight into the nature, structure and operation of technical operations, and the factors that influence business decisions and success of technology-based organizations. 

The program in Technology Management, offered at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, enhances career development opportunities for entry-level managers or those looking to become managerial professionals in their field and provides professionals with a number of career paths, including: 1) managers in high-tech firms, 2) business analysts, 3) consultants, and 4) entrepreneurs in technological ventures

This online, course-based program provides a core of technology and business management courses together with elective options that offer opportunities to focus in particular areas. Two options are available: 1) Engineering/Applied Science Technology, and 2) Aquaculture Technology. 

Programme Structure

Participants will complete course work offered by the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University.
  • Option 1 requires 2 core courses (6 credit hours), 6 elective courses, and a project in Engineering Technology Management (6 credit hours).
  • Option 2 requires two core courses (6 credit hours), 8 elective courses (24 credit hours).
