Graduates will be able to contribute to interdisciplinary health interventions using exercise as part of the management strategy of disease, dysfunction, and injury across a range of public and private settings and work within an interprofessional environment including rural and remote areas.


The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Flinders University prepares you for a career as an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP). As recognised allied health professionals, AEPs are qualified in clinical exercise prescription and the delivery of exercise-based lifestyle and behaviour modification programs to prevent and treat injury and disease.

GMAT admission requirements GMAT The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.

The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90.

General requirements

Applicants must have completed a Bachelors degree in Sport and/or of Exercise Science that is accredited and satisfies Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) entry requirements into a postgraduate Clinical Exercise Physiology course, OR be a Full Member or eligible for Full Membership with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA) as an ‘Accredited Exercise Scientist’. Applicants need to have completed 140 hours of practicum experience with apparently healthy individuals. Graduates of undergraduate programs in science and/or health science require an 'ESSA approved Graduate status'. International students are not eligible to apply for this program.
