As part of Adelphi University ’s Distance Graduate Programs in Education Group, the Educational Theatre programs has partnered with Graduate Art Education, Educational Technology, English Education, and Social Studies Education to provide accessible and meaningful online and blended learning.
We offer two Master of Arts programs. The MA in Educational Theatre P-12 is a teacher certification program designed to address the needs of performers who are interested in earning NYS certification in theatre P-12.
We also offer an MA in Educational Theatre, Storytelling and the Arts, non-certification, designed to nurture educators without a theatre major who would like to learn how to integrate dramatic play into their pedagogy. Both programs are offered in blended format (partially online) with weekend intensive courses.
