General requirements

The normal entry requirements for the programme are:

  • A degree in a healthcare discipline (or equivalent) & have a recognised professional qualification. and
  • The equivalent of 2 years Full Time post qualifying experience (excluding internship) and additionally 1 year Full Time in a substantive speciality post in skin integrity / wound management and
  • Current clinical experience of a minimum of 1 year Full time or equivalent in a clinical setting with access to patients with chronic wounds or skin integrity related conditions
  • References will be required to confirm specialist experience.
