The Strength and Conditioning course from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is a dedicated distance learning postgraduate degree, which focuses on you as the practitioner.

It’s underpinned by science, which ensures a balance between academic theory and field-based coaching skills.

Why study with us

We work alongside British Weightlifting and the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.

We’re just one of two universities which partner with the Football Medicine and Performance Association (FMPA) – this means a direct link to the football industry.

Our distance learning course means that you can learn flexibly around your lifestyle.

Many also work within clubs, teams, and organisations, and deliver Strength and Conditioning support to a large range of audiences such as school PE lessons, recreational, semi-professional and professional athletes, and special population groups.
