Overview

The WHO estimates that by 2030 more than 23 million people will die annually from cardiovascular disease. The discovery of effective and novel treatments for disease starts with understanding the molecular and cellular processes involved.

General requirements

  • 2:1 in a relevant science undergraduate degree. A 2:2 may be considered with strong performance in research-related modules. We also welcome medical graduates as well as UK medical undergraduates wishing to intercalate.
  • Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.
  • We also accept a range of other UK qualifications and other EU/international qualifications.
