Overview
Students in the Sport Administration program at the Bowling Green State University work with their advisors to complete a series of courses in the sport administration program and in a variety of other disciplines related to their academic interests and goals, and this includes: business administration, marketing, mass communication, higher education administration, interpersonal communication, and psychosocial foundations of sport.
All students in sport administration complete a culminating experience: thesis, project, or comprehensive exam. Students work closely with their advisor in developing a focus of study, selecting courses, and deciding whether to complete a thesis or master's project. The program is planned over two continuous years of study. Bowling Green State University has received specialized accreditation for its sport management program through the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA) located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
