Overview
The Health and Physical Education programme offered by the Central Washington University has provided numerous graduates with the information and work ethic to be more effective teachers and has even had some graduates continue to become journal article and book authors as well as state and regional Teachers of the Year.
Learning outcomes
Students attend this program as a cohort, beginning together a summer two week intensive program continuing until they graduate two years later. The cohort format enhances a feeling of support and collegial relationships that continue until the culmination of the online program.

- A 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average - GPA - or above (on a 4.0 scale) is required to be academically admissible. The Graduate School calculates the last 90 quarter hour or last 60 semester hour GPA.
- If the applicant’s native language is not English, he or she is required to demonstrate proof of English proficiency.
- All students must provide adequate financial documentation before an admission decision can be made and an I-20 issued.
