About this programme
The emphasis of the study programme is on a broad description, analysis, and development of logistics systems as well as their interaction. An important feature of the 2nd-cycle study programme is the integration of education and research. The last semester of studies is dedicated to Research Work, in which you enhance your methodological approach to research work and gain the ability to apply your knowledge to problem solving in the business world.
Graduates of this programme in System Logistics at University of Maribor are able to think strategically and are also great analysts, effective speakers, and team leaders who work successfully in complex logistics systems. In the programme, you prepare yourselves for a career at senior management level or a career in the academic world by upgrading your knowledge in the doctoral programme in System Logistics.
In the second year of studies students choose one of the four modules: technical, economic, international, or supply chain management.

General requirements
- A 1 st-cycle (bachelor’s) study programme in one of the following fields: transport services, engineering and engineering trades, Information and Communication Technologies, natural sciences, mathematics and statistics (05), security services, economics, business and administration , political sciences and civics
- 2. A 1 st-cycle (bachelor’s) study programme in a field not specified under point 1. Prior to enrolment, candidates shall pass the following courses corresponding to 34 ECTS credits under the 1st-cycle (bachelor’s) study programme, a supplementary study programme, or by taking bridging exams: Mathematical Methods I, Mathematical Methods II, Theory of Systems, Principles of Logistics Activities, and Fundamentals of Logistics and Supply Chains.
