Overview
This Leadership and Management Practice programme at Liverpool John Moores University, which can be undertaken as a PgCert or MSc, offers an alternative management training option to an MBA.
It is aimed at managers or those who have ambitions for a management role and would like a qualification to support career progression as a manger or leader. It focuses on the practice of leadership and management, as opposed to the MBA, which seeks to understand the functions of business.
At the centre of our philosophy is the notion that we learn best from experience and applying our learning, so action learning and coaching are key parts of our programmes.
Career
Our applied learning techniques and strong industry connections ensure our students are fully prepared for the workplace on graduation and understand how to apply their knowledge in a real world context.
