The "Product Design" 2nd-cycle study programme leads to "magisterij" (master's degree). It is implemented by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Graduates are experts with theoretical and methodological  knowledge  for  solving  problems  by  planning,  managing  and  implementing  complex  professional tasks within a wide field of product design and at various workplaces.


Graduates are able to manage the procedures  and  processes  within  the  field  of  product  design.  They  are  able  to  design,  construct,  manufacture  and  maintain  products  with  great  responsibility,  taking  into  account  the  professional excellence, social utility, ethical responsibility, commitment to professional  ethics and criteria for the environmental integrities of their creations.

    Based on the original amount of 3968 EUR per year and a duration of 24 months.

Tuition also applies to all Slovene/EU full-time students who have already obtained an education corresponding to master's degree.

Living costs for Maribor

  • 480 - 700 EUR/month
    Living Costs

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.


Full-time students from Slovenia and other EU countries, and full-time students from non-EU countries who are granted international protection, applicants for international protection and persons from countries with which Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreement (i.e. Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, B&H, and Serbia) pay NO TUITION FEE (except the part for studying in English, if applicable) if they have not already obtained an education corresponding to master's degree.
