The master’s program in Reading Education at Auburn University will prepare you for the challenging work of helping struggling readers. Working with faculty who helped develop the innovative Alabama Reading Initiative program, you’ll be ready to help all readers succeed.

Overview

As a graduate of Auburn University’s Reading Education M.Ed. program, you’ll be eligible to apply for Alabama Class A professional educator certification.

Our M.S. non-certification program provides an interdisciplinary graduate-level education for community-based or international educators who do not wish to gain teacher certification/licensure in the United States.

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • International applicants must demonstrate full financial sponsorship if accepted into a graduate program
