As a graduate of Auburn University’s Reading Education M.Ed. program, you’ll be eligible to apply for Alabama Class A professional educator certification.
Our M.S. non-certification program provides an interdisciplinary graduate-level education for community-based or international educators who do not wish to gain teacher certification/licensure in the United States.

- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Three letters of recommendation
- International applicants must demonstrate full financial sponsorship if accepted into a graduate program
- One official transcript of all undergraduate and any graduate credits from each school previously attended
- Application fee payment: $60 for domestic students; $70 for international students.
