The Business (Finance) programme at Lincoln University Canterbury is an advanced postgraduate qualification for students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree.


A graduate of the Business (Finance) programme at Lincoln University Canterbury will gain a perspective on finance in New Zealand and international contexts, with reference to sustainability, agribusiness, entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialisation. 


Graduates will also have a clear understanding of key theoretical finance concepts and the ability to apply these practically to resolve business problems and develop successful strategies.

This is a taught Master's programme consisting only of coursework. These courses are completed over 12 months and there is no thesis requirement.

  • A birth certificate or passport (a scanned copy showing the same name that is on your academic documents)
  • Academic transcripts (results or mark sheets) for all tertiary education qualifications, either completed or partially completed. The transcript must include the courses taken and the marks or grades achieved. The grading scale used must also be provided.
  • Evidence of English language proficiency (if applicable)
  • A Curriculum Vitae or resume
