University rank #356 (QS) Christchurch, New Zealand
It is predicted that by 2050 the world’s population will reach 9.2 billion. As the population grows, food supply and production will become key. So will sustaining the environment for future generations. The Pest Management programme is offered by Lincoln University Canterbury.

The University and Hub partners seek to address challenges around sustainable food production, more efficient land use, restoring and protecting water sources and fortifying the resilience of New Zealand’s eco-systems.

The Pest Management programme at Lincoln University Canterbury will provide the advanced training and in-depth knowledge needed to find new solutions to predator eradication and biosecurity issues.

Graduates of the Master of Pest Management will be well placed to gain employment in the primary production sector or with government organisations involved in pest control and border protection. They could also work as environmental or agricultural consultants providing advice on pest control and plant protection.
