Overview
Objectives of the Biorefinery and Biomaterials program at Grenoble INP Institute of engineering Grenoble INP, Graduate schools of Engineering and Management Université Grenoble Alpes
The transformation of plant biomass into energy, chemicals and polymers is an important component of the green economy. It contributes to the drastic reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the intensification of recycling and the limitation of waste.
The biorefinery is the operation that passes from the plant resource to the production of energy and chemicals. Bioenergy, biofuels, bioproducts and biopolymers are today realities.
However, the growth of their production must be considerably accelerated so that their contribution is up to the stakes
