To be considered for a place in the Graduate Certificate in Nursing for Overseas Nurses (Speciality) applicants should apply through the Admissions Centre at the University of Tasmania and provide evidence of:
- A Bachelor's Degree (in nursing or related health) that is recognised by UTAS processes for entry to a postgraduate course.
- Registration as a nurse in the overseas country, where there is a registration system, or equivalent in that country.
- English Language proficiency to a level of IELTS 7.0 or OET overall score of B.
- This evidence must be endorsed by a recognised authority
- Six months of full-time experience in relevant nursing practice in an overseas country within the last two years
