The postgraduate program in Acute Care Nursing from Flinders University aims to facilitate the development of specialised knowledge and skills to enable application and critical analysis of concepts and theories relating to the recognition, response and management and care of the acute, complex and/or critically ill deteriorating patient in a range of acute health care settings.

Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification and must be registered nurses in their country of residence.
However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
