The Global Management and Governance (MSc) study programme encourages future managers to think and act strategically and sustainably, thus laying the foundations for professional success.

The study programme takes a broad approach to teaching fundamental management knowledge and methods for business. The programme focusses on Internationality, Business Ethics, and Governance. Theoretical and analytical knowledge together with case studies and examples from practise offer the opportunity to put the theoretical learnings into practice. 

This specialisation deals with all of the different aspects of entrepreneurship, starting with company start-ups and the management of small and medium-sized enterprises right through to innovation management and the restructuring of existing and development of new business divisions in companies and the founding of new companies, also within corporate groups.

General Requirements

  • A completed third-level degree in economics or business covering 180 ECTS credits. The third-level degree should have been completed with a minimum German grade “good” (2.5) or equivalent
  • Ability to complete a course of studies in English (minimum level: B2 of the European Framework of Reference)
  • Letter of recommendation from a current or former employer or an academic reference
  • Successfully completed HSBA selection process (written application, telephone interview, admission day)
