About

Distilling expertise in the biological sciences and medicine, the Biotechnology postgraduate program at Flinders University is designed to provide you with advanced theoretical scientific knowledge and strong research training plus an understanding of industry and business issues required for modern biotechnology.

Overview

Please note effective 20 March 9pm AEDT, the Australian Government implemented new travel bans and restrictions whereby only Australian citizens, Permanent Residents, their spouses and dependants could enter the country. For students who would like to study a course that’s offered on campus, we will work with you to enrol you online first and transition you to campus once the travel restrictions change.

Biotechnology is the use of living organisms, or their cells, to create products or processes. Those organisms may be as simple as bacteria or as complex as whole animals or plants.
