Nordic Masters in Jazz (NOMAZZ) at University of the Arts Helsinki is a joint Nordic jazz music master’s programme in which you will develop and expand your artistic vision, technical skills, and knowledge of the Nordic jazz field.

Overview

As a student in the programme, you will have the opportunity to focus on your individual expression in such a way that will give you the skills for demanding musician, orchestral conducting, arranger-composer or instructor assignments.

NOMAZZ is a joint Nordic jazz music Master’s programme organized by the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg (Denmark), Sibelius Academy, and the Royal College of Music (Sweden). 

The Nordic Masters in Jazz programme at University of the Arts Helsinki enables you to develop and enhance your artistic vision, technical skills, and knowledge of the Nordic jazz field. The language of the degree programme is English. As a student in the programme, you will have the opportunity to focus on your individual expression in such a way that will give you the skills to work as a versatile jazz music professional.
