At the Global Archaeology MA programme at Leiden University you study key developments in past societies that have shaped global history from comparative and regional perspectives. Investigate major transitions in history from the origins of our species to the emergence of capitalism in diverse regions including the Near East, the Mediterranean, Europe and the Americas.

The Global Archaeology MA programme at Leiden University will invite you top step into a lively, multifaceted community and gives you access to researchers from many different backgrounds and to international networks all over the world.
