The context for teachers has changed in the past 10 to 15 years, not only in Washington state, but also in the United States and beyond. Building on the foundation of the previous Curriculum and Instruction program, the Master of Education in Teacher Leadership at Seattle Pacific University.

Overview

This Teacher Leadership program will equip you to assume a variety of roles in education: from early career mentor or instructional coach to department chair, staff development leader, assessment coordinator, and curriculum coordinator.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

  • Complete official transcripts from any college or university you’ve attended.
  • A 3.0 or better GPA in your most recent 45 quarter credits, or in all undergraduate work.
  • A passing score on the entrance exam for your program.
  • Satisfaction of program-specific entrance requirements.
  • Payment of the application fee of $50 or $75, depending on the program.
