The Education program of Midland University is designed for full-time teachers who are ready to grow into new roles within their school or district.  Throughout the program, we strive to help students become content experts in their classrooms through our coursework that helps students build skills that can be taken back to school immediately.


Why the Midland M.Ed.?

The Education program of Midland University offers a unique opportunity to earn a master's degree while also pursuing an area of emphasis. Students complete 18 credits of core coursework plus an additional 18 credits related to the specific area of emphasis pursued and a capstone experience. Students can choose to take the area of emphasis year first, or the core year, whichever the student prefers. Credits for the area of emphasis vary slightly, but all MEd students will complete 36 credits.
