Overview
Why the Midland M.Ed.?
The Education in Leadership, Teaching, and Learning program of Midland University offers a unique opportunity to earn a master's degree while also pursuing an area of emphasis. Students complete 18 credits of core coursework plus an additional 18 credits related to the specific area of emphasis pursued and a capstone experience. Students can choose to take the area of emphasis year first, or the core year, whichever the student prefers. Credits for the area of emphasis vary slightly, but all MEd students will complete 36 credits.

Learn from Midland’s faculty who are experts in their field and have multiple years of combined K-12 teaching and leadership experience in education. Througout the online courses, faculty challenge student thinking, and allow students to share authentic experiences to enrich learning and strengthen the quality and meaning of the online discussions and assignments. They provide the necessary resources and commitment to help students understand both the theory and the application of course content.
