The Master of Arts in Greek at University of Johannesburg aims to introduce the student to advanced methods of research applicable to Greek Studies, for example in: history, literature, philosophy, religion, mythology, culture, art. 

Acquired skills

Students acquire the ability to find and define topics for research which they find relevant to either their modern environment or their own inner journey. The continued life of ancient myths or literature in, for example, modern books or films, is also encouraged.
