The MA Vocational Education and Personnel Capacity Building programme of International Institute Zittau, Central Academic Unit of TU Dresden consists of nine mandatory modules and one mandatory elective, which enables students to chose a specialisation.

The following mandatory modules have to be attended: "Basics of Vocational and Continuing Education", "Design of Learning and Teaching Processes", "Psychology of Learning", "Management Processes", "Analysis of Research-Production-Education", "Scientific Work", "Projecting of Educational Systems", "Professional Internship" and "Master´s Thesis". Students are able to choose one of the following mandatory electives: "Human Resources Development", "Design of Communication Processes", "Quality Management Systems", "Subject-specific Didactics" or "Educational Technology".
