Overview

At Religious Studies programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong emphasis on experiential learning is a distinctive feature. Since religion is a living phenomenon in our society, fieldwork constitutes a core learning activity for students to integrate religious theory and application, and to gain a greater understanding of the daily religious practices of people, both locally and overseas.

Over the past years, students participated in a large number of field trips organized either by individual courses or research centres to visit religious sites in Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, Malacca, Japan, Portugal and so forth.

Graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor’s degree (major subjects are not restricted), normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or

Graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a Bachelor’s degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or

Completed a course of study in a tertiary education institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to an honours degree; and

Fulfill the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Gradaute School before being considered for admission.
