  • Distributed Systems and
  • Machine intelligence.

In the Distributed Systems area , the focus is on the design and further development of devices such as programs for high-performance computer networks, the elements of which are located in different places, even on different continents. Researchers in the field of machine intelligence develop and optimize autonomous decision-making systems for planning and predicting future events or states. Both areas are worked on by several research groups and given special attention in teaching.
