Overview
Literacy (Grades 5-12) is a major global issue. One out of every five people in the world cannot read or write. Societies with a high rate of literacy tend to thrive versus those that do not. The real magic of literacy, beyond the ability to read and write, is that it gives people the capacity to connect, interpret, and discern the intricacies of the world, regardless of culture. The foundation literacy provides is transferable to everything, and is the cornerstone of Keuka College's Master of Science in literacy degrees.
