If you’re looking to become a leader in the field of speech-language pathology, look no further than the Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders program at Rockhurst University. Through community based clinical practicum experiences, service learning opportunities, and a curriculum emphasizing ethics, you’ll become a well-rounded clinician with a true passion for helping others.
By mixing work in and out of the classroom, our program will prepare you to offer speech-language services in a variety of facilities and settings. Full time students complete the program in two years, while part-time students complete in approximately three years.

General requirements
- Complete the online application via CSDCAS
- Complete an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited college or university
- Achieve a required minimum overall grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and a 3.00 or better in the undergraduate major.
- Send official transcripts directly to CSDCAS from all colleges and universities attended. No paper transcripts will be accepted.
- Submit your completed written essay directly to CSDCAS
- Submit three references to CSDCAS. No paper references will be accepted.
- Complete the GRE. Please send your scores to Rockhurst CSDCAS (the code is 7406)
- A personal interview with the CSD faculty may be required
- International students applying from a non-English speaking country: Submit a TOEFL score of at least 79 (internet based) directly to Rockhurst University.
