The Master of Arts in Sport Management at Lindenwood University is designed to prepare you for a career within the sport industry. Sport management includes any combination of skills related to planning, budgeting, organizing, directing, staffing, marketing and controlling in a sports organization. The curriculum is a unique blend of formal coursework and opportunities designed for practical experience. The close collaboration of several sports venues in the St. Charles/St. Louis area enhances the program and will enable you to gain first-hand knowledge and work experience in sport management.
The business graduate degree programs at Lindenwood University will prepare you to pursue careers in the management of business firms or other formally organized enterprises. The programs emphasize knowledge, skills, and techniques useful in designing and maintaining effective organizations.
Graduate programs in the school of business operate on a 5-term calendar, meeting in the Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, Spring II, and Summer terms. You may begin your degree program during any of the five terms. Most courses meet once weekly in four hour sessions for nine consecutive weeks on weekday evenings or Saturday mornings. Online courses meet asynchronously, and you are expected to participate in your online courses multiple times throughout each of the nine weeks.
