While solving complex industrial problems requires expertise in traditional engineering, business, and management practices, for solutions to be effective and sustainable they must adopt cross-disciplinary approaches to enhance synergistic collaborations, systems thinking, and holistic ways of working.
That’s why Industrial and Systems Engineering (Non-Thesis) programme from Istanbul Sehir University has been designed with an interdisciplinary focus, putting an emphasis on developing your systems thinking abilities and providing you with a strong understanding of industrial sustainability and novel analytical decision-making skills.
The program also gives great weight to research projects aimed to increase your understanding of industrial sustainability, encompassing economic, social, and environmental sustainability from a systems perspective. Meanwhile, you will be encouraged to take courses from various disciplines, such as economics and social sciences, and will learn how to harmonize them in a systematic way to produce novel cutting-edge research on sustainable systems engineering.
