The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Kentucky State University advances knowledge, research and practice of public administration through a solid foundation of core coursework in public administration and society, information science, fiscal resources management, and quantitative analysis.
Students also develop specialized expertise in at least one concentration area: Human Resource Management (HRM), Non-profit Management (NP), International Development (ID), and Management Information Systems (MIS). The MPA program places a strong emphasis on research and practice of public policy that provides relevant experience for our students to develop the skill set needed to be successful in the real-world. Our graduates go on to have fulfilling careers working for a wide range of governmental, nonprofit, and even private sector organization
