Overview
The Educational Leadership - Pk-12 program offered by University of Lynchburg offers two options: PK12 Administrative and Supervisory Focus.
This multi-faceted, practical program prepares educators for administrative and supervisory positions that include the principalship at all levels and supervisor and director positions across all school division departments. Our graduates have gained all leadership positions including assistant superintendent and superintendent.
Graduates with M.Ed. in Educational Leadership - Pk-12 from University of Lynchburg will be able to promote the success of every student by:
- facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by all stakeholders.
- advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth.
- ensuring management of the organization, operation, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment.
- collaborating with faculty and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources.
- acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner.
- understanding, responding to, and influencing the larger political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.
