The Nursing program at Western Sydney University focuses to provide the necessary skills for Registered Nurses to meet their professional goals in a clinical or research setting. This includes studying cultural and social diversity in health care, evidence based health care and leadership in clinical practice. Our students are provided the option to choose a specialisation in either clinical leadership, clinical teaching, aged care, primary health care or research studies, preparing you for career progression in your chosen field.

  • CRICOS Code: 085665M
  • Registered Nurse (currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – Nursing and Midwifery), or eligibility for same, or certificate of registration of nursing, within the last five years, in their own country. Any other type of registration (non-practicing, limited, or student) is not acceptable for this course

and

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in health-related sciences (AQF Level 7 or equivalent), in health science, human science, midwifery, naturopathy, nursing, nutrition, psychology.
