Join the fight against cancer in the exciting Cancer Immunology and Biotechnology programme of the University of Nottingham that is focusing specifically on current and in-development immunotherapies for treating cancer and tumour immunology.

Overview

During the Cancer Immunology and Biotechnology programme of the University of Nottingham you'll learn everything from the basics of immunology and molecular biology of cancer before focusing on how to develop therapies like vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, CAR T cells and more. You'll also develop an understanding of the impact tumours have on the immune system and the immune system on tumours, as well as the business side of research.

Working with active cancer researchers and experts, you'll join the Centre for Cancer Sciences and undertake your own research project in the area of cancer immunology and biotechnology that interests you.

Based in the brand new Biodiscovery Institute you'll also be able to make use of the latest technology in cancer research and help us tackle one of the world's biggest killers.
