Overview
The Management in the Built Environment programme at the Institute of Technology Carlow ensures that the learners will have an in-depth knowledge of the underlying theories, key concepts and technologies within the discipline area of the built environment.
Career
Graduates will be able to analyse the complex contemporary challenges and issues in management of the built environment and integrate and apply this knowledge to formulate creative and innovative solutions. They will develop a capacity for critical thinking within their discipline and demonstrate an ability to bring their expertise to bear on real world problems and challenges in the built environment in Ireland and abroad. They will be equipped to lead, develop, and manage within a range of built environment organisations.
Students on this programme will also have the opportunity to develop advanced research skills which would enable them to pursue further qualifications at NFQ Level 10.
