The M.A degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is designed to develop skilled clinicians and well-educated leaders in the field of mental health. Within a caring and challenging environment, the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program strives to facilitate the acquisition and application of knowledge and skills which will help prepare graduate students to make appropriate contributions to diverse clients, institutions, and society.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling equips a student to work in any area of counseling outside of public schools, such as non-profits, community mental health agencies, hospitals, Veteran Affairs, substance abuse treatment, and much more!
